Are you ready for the revolution?

There’s a revolution brewing. It’ll happen in just a few months. But I admit, I have some trepidation.

History often has a way of repeating itself. In 1994, Bill Clinton was in the crapper. It looked like the people were ready to dump him as soon as possible. But then it happened–the republican revolution.

Lead by Newt Gingrich, Republicans controlled Congress and got things done. What’s so bad about that, you ask? Well, Bill Clinton received credit for the booming economy (he wisely kept his hands off); he received credit for creating a surplus (with the republican plan); and he was re-elected. According to modern mythology, Bill Clinton is one of the greatest presidents of the 20th Century–possibly even of all time.

Now, if history repeats itself, a Republican–or more so, a Conservative–revolution might actually forge a place in history for our socialist president as “Dear Leader,” the greatest leader since Mohammed. If that happens, we might see another six years of his socialist agendas and his anti-Israeli, muslim-loving. And if the people aren’t fed up with him, they might continue repeating history and elect someone even further to the left.

Obama warrantless wire tapping

Remember all the left wing media hype about Bush and warrantless wire tapping? Where is the outrage now?

Cnet reported Friday, “…the Obama administration has argued that warrantless tracking is permitted because Americans enjoy no “reasonable expectation of privacy” in their–or at least their cell phones’–whereabouts.”

Sound the Alarm!

Why do democrats insist on repeating lies?

Almost every day, I hear some moronic Congressman (or woman) saying we need a public option to foster “competition.”

So, let’s see. When consumers needed competition for local and long distance phone service, did the government create a phone company? No, they broke up Ma Bell (in 1987) and then had the Telecommunications Act of 1996, demanding the incumbents help their competitors enter the marketplace. (Mind, you, I think that was unconstitutional, but I’ll stick to the point). Competition was created by other corporations.

Now that all television signals must be digital, consumers are forced to pay for television–at an ever-increasing expense. In most areas, there is only one provider.  What has the government done to force competition? Nothing. Congress certainly hasn’t created a government-run cable company.

Where’s the competition in computers? Windows or Mac, that’s it? Sure, there’s *nix, but where’s the Obamanite Operating System? And why are the people limited to AMD or Intel processors? Shouldn’t we have a government subsidized Congressional-Chip?

Perhaps some will argue we do not need television, the internet, or phones. Of course, that flies in the face of the democrats who argue these are basic human rights and the federal government should subsidize them for the less fortunate.

We need food as well. When I was younger, I could get Big Mac for less than $1. Now, they’re over $2. I used to buy a can of Coca-Cola for $.25 and now the same store sells them for over $1. Surely, I have to eat and drink. And these stores should not be allowed to profit from my hunger. So, where are the government wine & cheese shops selling me my food at discount rates to create competition for the profiteering, greedy corner stores and gas stations?

While I’m on basic needs–why is there only one power company, gas company and water company in my town? The government should create additional corporations to sell me these things cheaper…just to keep the other companies honest. Heck, the government should own all businesses and set the wages and prices for everything, guaranteeing that no one make a profit off of someone else’s need or desire. Yes, that’s sarcasm. but it’s also the road we’re heading down.

Obama, Pelosi, Frank, Reid, Snowe, and the other lying scumbags in Washington have no interest in keeping insurance companies “honest.” That’s a bit like expecting the fox to keep his word when he says he’ll watch the hen house for you while you’re on vacation. And these devils have no desire to foster competition. If they did, they would have started in some of the other areas I mentioned.

It has and always will be about CONTROL.

When they government is footing the bill, they can say, “Since we’re covering your health care, we own your body and control what can or cannot go into it.”

  • You can’t smoke
  • You’re overweight…go to this fat camp or go to prison
  • No, you don’t need greasy fries…they are now illegal
  • Cheeseburgers? You’ll go out like Elvis. That’s why we must shut down all fast food
  • You already have a child, we’ll have to kill this one to save the environment. After all, this child will be a CO2 factory and consume natural resources
  • You WILL take this flu shot because we own you and the others you might make sick
  • We noticed you voted for the opposition last election. Now, this is not political, but we can’t have mentally ill people like you running around, so–no–we’re not going to allow the heart transplant. But seriously, there are no politics involved.

Perhaps I am an alarmist. You might be right. Then again, if there were more alarmists alive in China, Russia, and Cambodia when these same signs started cropping up, maybe a hundred-million-plus people wouldn’t have died in the hen house while the fox guarded it.

Al Qaeda isn’t a threat

When I was young, the Russians were our enemy. The Iranians also despised us, but it was the Russians we feared most. We worried bout their plans for global domination. Then Ronald Reagan came along and changed everything. He undid the anti-patriotic, suicidal anti-Americanism Jimmy Carter fostered. Reagan encouraged Americans to love their country once more. He helped free East Germany, Poland, and millions of others in the Soviet Bloc.

Now, in some respects, I wish he hadn’t. It was easier when our enemies were without. It was easier when we could point to a place on a map and say, “Here. These people want to destroy our way of life.” When we placed that finger to the page, it was on the other side of th world. Yes, we fought communism in Central America and saw it rise in Africa, but they were always somewhere else.

Today when we point to the place on the map where our enemies exist, we might mention Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iran, but like the days before, these were our secondary and tertiary enemies. Currently, our number one enemy–the enemy trying to fundamentally alter our way of life and enslave us under a socialist-marxist dictatorship–is not around the globe. The finger falls on Washington DC.

The enemies of Liberty are no longer without. They are within our borders. They sit in the White House and behind the desks of the House and Senate. With the Soviets, we lived under a threat of nuclear war, but had MAD (mutually assured destruction) to prevent either side from trying to conquer the other. Today, we don’t have that luxury. There is no MAD where Congress, the TOTUS, and the POTUS are concerned. As President Obama gathers an enemy list and as Congress passes legislation to destroy capitalism and Liberty, we have little power to effect them.

Mr. Obama and his left wing cronies like to talk about classism, class warfare, and a divide between rich and poor, but the true divide is only the political class verses the civilian class. The former manipulates the latter, causing internal wars and battles, so the political class can accumulate more power and more wealth by stealing it from the rightful owners–We, the People.

The world doesn’t need Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Al Qaeda or the Soviets to destroy the United States. We have the American government doing a bang up job of it already.

Obama’s hourly address to We, his servants

So, Obama just had another one of his hourly addresses to his minions via the telehypnosis device. His logic is we need new and more government agencies to protect the people from powerful business lobbyists.

This totally ignores the problem. Congress and Obama are allowing lobbyists and PAC dollars to influence them in ways that hurt the American public while buying politicians houses in the Dominican Republic. Therefore, lobbyists aren’t the problem, corrupt politicians are!

So, how’s this for reform?

Forbid all lobbying and PACs. Make it illegal for corporations or entities (including non-profits such as RAINBOW, NAACP, or the AMA) to give money to political campaigns. Further, make it illegal for these entities to solicit money for any candidate or party. Create a maximum $500,000 a candidate can receive or spend on any campaign. All other donations in excess of $500K will go to subsidize 3rd party candidates…after all, Obama loves spreading the wealth around.

Tired of Obama? read this

At times, it bothers me that Barack Obama tends to be in campaign mode 24/7. In the past couple of months, he’s given about 120 speeches–mostly on health care–has pandered to his leftist base by throwing Israel under the bus and trying to appease every dictator the world over, and now is heading to Europe to repay some political favors by trying to get the Olympics in the “City of Corrupt Politics,” Chicago.

Good!

I try to be a glass-half-full person. The glass-half-empty person only sees the above. Me, I see something great about what Obama is doing. Now, now. Bear with me.

Every time Barack Obama opens his mouth, his approval rating spikes then drops below where it was. The more he talks about socialized medicine for America, the less people want it. The more he bows to Saudi Kings and tries to become the lap dog of dictators like Chavez, Castro, and Ahmadinejad, the more patriotic Americans become. President Obama appears to be his own worst enemy. His endless overexposure on the All-Barack-Channels has polarized the nation more than G. W. Bush ever did and has steeled the resolve of millions of previously apolitical people against going into the dark night of socialism. Like carter, he will probably be a one-term president and the forerunner of another Reagan.

Keep it up, Mr. President. You’re doing a bang up job!

Obama Lying Again? Or just hiding the truth?

Last night, during one of his Castro-like speeches, the overexposed Obama made a comment at the Congressional Black Caucus dinner to the extent of:

“At the G20, Michelle and I were shaking hands and one leader–I’m not going to say who–pulled me aside and said, ‘Explain this health care thing to me. I don’t understand. You want to give them health care and they draw Hitler moustaches on you.’”

Okay…first, call me a skeptic or cynical, but I wonder if the reason our Circumlocutor-in-Chief didn’t name names was because it didn’t happen. He has already been caught lying about a man who died from cancer because insurance companies wouldn’t treat him, when evidence shows the man’s insurance was reinstated within a few weeks. So, perhaps the conversation never took place. As it stands, by not saying with whom this supposedly transpired, each of the other 19 members may simply assume it was someone else. But if Obama tossed out a name, that person might say, “That never happened.”

Perhaps, though, it did happen and the reason Obama doesn’t cite the source is because it would be more embarassing to admit he has someone like China’s communist dictator Hu Jintao or Russia’s Dmitry Medvedev supporting his plans for creating a Socialist States of America. Heck, it may have even been Obama’s spiritual leader, King Abdullah from Saudi Arabia–how can we forget Barack Obama prostrating himself before the leader of the Muslim world?

Obama’s deadly naivety

Filed under: Obama — Tags: — Brutus @ 1:33 pm

Barack Obama’s hypocrisy and naivety never fail to amaze me. I keep waiting for him to come on during one of his hourly broadcasts to the public and say, “I asked my daughter, ‘Sasha, what scares you most in the world?’ and she said, ‘nuclear weapons and global warming, daddy,’ So I Have to do something about those.”

Obama’s systematic abandonment of Israel and his naive (I am giving him credit there) endorsement of muslim dictators around the world spell disaster for this and future generations. We are still living with the aftershocks of Jimmy Carter’s presidency. One need only look at the Community Reinvestment Act and follow it through to modern days to see how our current economic situation begins with Carter. Like Carter, Obama is an anti-Semite…or at least acts like one. And his speech at the UN yesterday was little more than anti-Israel rhetoric which will aid Islamofascists in their unholy war against the Israelis.

As for hypocrisy, how can Obama say no country should be above another and then demand Israel give something to the Arabs (there’s no such thing as a Palestinian)? It appears even Barack Obama, the “anointed one” has difficulty reconciling his international socialist views with his empty-suit rhetoric.
