This is awesome. Democrat Hank Johnson thinks the island of Guam can tip over and capsize if 8,000 Marines are stationed there. Seriously!
Here’s what I want to know…why hasn’t the left wing main stream media picked this up yet?

Here’s what I want to know…why hasn’t the left wing main stream media picked this up yet?
Remember all the left wing media hype about Bush and warrantless wire tapping? Where is the outrage now?
Cnet reported Friday, “…the Obama administration has argued that warrantless tracking is permitted because Americans enjoy no “reasonable expectation of privacy” in their–or at least their cell phones’–whereabouts.”

Nancy Pelosi, the wicked witch of the West, says she thinks Americans are stupid and don’t know their Shakespeare or Orwell well enough. To prove this, she sprinkles in a little Hitlerian example.
It was in Shakespeare’s Romeo and Julietthat Juliet spoke the famous words, ” that which we call a rose [b]y any other name would smell as sweet.” Likewise, a pile of dog crap by any other name is just as stinky. Yes, we may call it a pile of Sweet Fragrance Bursts, but that doesn’t change the aromatic rings wafting up off that mound of stool.
In Orwell’s 1984, we were given “Doublethink.” This is the ability:
”to tell deliberate lies while genuinely believing in them, to forget any fact that has become inconvenient, and then, when it becomes necessary again, to draw it back from oblivion for just so long as it is needed, to deny the existence of objective reality and all the while to take account of the reality which one denies…”
And so we come to Nancy Pelosi’s rebranding of the “public option” as the “consumer option.”
The wicked witch added, “… [P]ublic is being misrepresented as being something that’s paid for by taxpayer dollars, which it is not.”
Let us think about this for a second. We’ve all heard or read what the CBO (Congressional Budget Office) said. The democrats’ plan to socialize health care would come at the tune of $871 billion over ten years. What most people don’t discuss is the fact that the first several years the American public pays for it, but doesn’t receive any benefits. That’s right. You and I will pay taxes and add to the federal coffers to give socialized medicine a running start, so it has some cash when they afflict the American people with their deranged plan.
On top of that, Americans will still pay taxes to fund this disease until the United States finally crumbles into a third-world nation due to the debt both parties have foisted upon citizens.
While funded by all current and future taxpayers, this “consumer option” does what exactly? Acording to Pelosi, this pile of Sweet Fragrance Bursts is an ”option for consumers to either choose to go to the private sector if they wish or have some leverage by saying I have another choice here.”
Doublethink is aways confusing, so let me make sure I have this straight. While funded by current and future taxpayers, this option is not publicly funded. States may be able to opt out, however, the citizens of those states will still have to pay the taxes, but not be able to sign up for this federal sickness. And this plan is for consumers. The people who currently consume health insurance are not consumers. They are…what? Consuming non-consumers?
Pelosi said people should know, “We are not throwing them to the wolves of the insurance industry without an option for them to choose which is what I would call not the public option, but the consumer option.”
I can’t speak for others, but I have never been forced to buy the insurance my employers offered. When I was younger, I never took it. Besides wanting the extra cash, I was always invincible (a delusionary side-effect of youth) and (fortunately) rarely ill. Now that I’m older, I take it. Contrary to facts, Pelosi’s assertion is that one is forced to take the insurance offered, that’s why the government needs to rescue consumers from the thieving insurance brigades.
All of this leads us to the Große Lüge–the Big Lie–as Hitler coined the term in his 1925 autobiographical work Mein Kampf. Hitler said,
in the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods. It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously. Even though the facts which prove this to be so may be brought clearly to their minds, they will still doubt and waver and will continue to think that there may be some other explanation. For the grossly impudent lie always leaves traces behind it, even after it has been nailed down, a fact which is known to all expert liars in this world and to all who conspire together in the art of lying.
Americans who fall for this Große Lüge deserve whatever happens to them. The sad part is, if enough people fall for the big lie and Nancy Pelosi’s doublethink rebranding, the rest of us will also be punished.
Why do democrats insist on repeating lies?
Almost every day, I hear some moronic Congressman (or woman) saying we need a public option to foster “competition.”
So, let’s see. When consumers needed competition for local and long distance phone service, did the government create a phone company? No, they broke up Ma Bell (in 1987) and then had the Telecommunications Act of 1996, demanding the incumbents help their competitors enter the marketplace. (Mind, you, I think that was unconstitutional, but I’ll stick to the point). Competition was created by other corporations.
Now that all television signals must be digital, consumers are forced to pay for television–at an ever-increasing expense. In most areas, there is only one provider. What has the government done to force competition? Nothing. Congress certainly hasn’t created a government-run cable company.
Where’s the competition in computers? Windows or Mac, that’s it? Sure, there’s *nix, but where’s the Obamanite Operating System? And why are the people limited to AMD or Intel processors? Shouldn’t we have a government subsidized Congressional-Chip?
Perhaps some will argue we do not need television, the internet, or phones. Of course, that flies in the face of the democrats who argue these are basic human rights and the federal government should subsidize them for the less fortunate.
We need food as well. When I was younger, I could get Big Mac for less than $1. Now, they’re over $2. I used to buy a can of Coca-Cola for $.25 and now the same store sells them for over $1. Surely, I have to eat and drink. And these stores should not be allowed to profit from my hunger. So, where are the government wine & cheese shops selling me my food at discount rates to create competition for the profiteering, greedy corner stores and gas stations?
While I’m on basic needs–why is there only one power company, gas company and water company in my town? The government should create additional corporations to sell me these things cheaper…just to keep the other companies honest. Heck, the government should own all businesses and set the wages and prices for everything, guaranteeing that no one make a profit off of someone else’s need or desire. Yes, that’s sarcasm. but it’s also the road we’re heading down.
Obama, Pelosi, Frank, Reid, Snowe, and the other lying scumbags in Washington have no interest in keeping insurance companies “honest.” That’s a bit like expecting the fox to keep his word when he says he’ll watch the hen house for you while you’re on vacation. And these devils have no desire to foster competition. If they did, they would have started in some of the other areas I mentioned.
It has and always will be about CONTROL.
When they government is footing the bill, they can say, “Since we’re covering your health care, we own your body and control what can or cannot go into it.”
Perhaps I am an alarmist. You might be right. Then again, if there were more alarmists alive in China, Russia, and Cambodia when these same signs started cropping up, maybe a hundred-million-plus people wouldn’t have died in the hen house while the fox guarded it.
Last night, during one of his Castro-like speeches, the overexposed Obama made a comment at the Congressional Black Caucus dinner to the extent of:
“At the G20, Michelle and I were shaking hands and one leader–I’m not going to say who–pulled me aside and said, ‘Explain this health care thing to me. I don’t understand. You want to give them health care and they draw Hitler moustaches on you.’”
Okay…first, call me a skeptic or cynical, but I wonder if the reason our Circumlocutor-in-Chief didn’t name names was because it didn’t happen. He has already been caught lying about a man who died from cancer because insurance companies wouldn’t treat him, when evidence shows the man’s insurance was reinstated within a few weeks. So, perhaps the conversation never took place. As it stands, by not saying with whom this supposedly transpired, each of the other 19 members may simply assume it was someone else. But if Obama tossed out a name, that person might say, “That never happened.”
Perhaps, though, it did happen and the reason Obama doesn’t cite the source is because it would be more embarassing to admit he has someone like China’s communist dictator Hu Jintao or Russia’s Dmitry Medvedev supporting his plans for creating a Socialist States of America. Heck, it may have even been Obama’s spiritual leader, King Abdullah from Saudi Arabia–how can we forget Barack Obama prostrating himself before the leader of the Muslim world?
Left wing lunatics and the noesocialists comprising the democrat party never fail to amaze me.
Just the other day, Nancy Pelosi the Czar of the House (that’s what the position is called now, right?) slandered everyone opposing Obama’s socialized health (er–now it’s insurance) plan. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2009/08/05/pelosi_town_hall_protesters_are_carrying_swastikas.html
So, imagine my surprise when I went over to Michelle Malkin’s blog and saw the democrats are complaining that Rush Limbaugh called them nazis.
One her website is a letter which, in part, states:
At a time when families are looking for solutions to rebuild the economy and make health care more affordable, Rush Limbaugh is attempting to sidetrack the important debate through his use of symbols that are synonymous with murder, intolerance and genocide.
So, let me get this straight. If democrats call someone a nazi, it is good. If a conservative calls someone a nazi it is evil. That takes too long to say. I’ll stick with: Democrats are self-righteous hypocrites. Yep, much easier to say and much truer as it covers a multitude of ther sins–so to speak. For example: When 3 people shout at bush or 1 person throws a pie at Ann Coulter, that’s grass roots opposition. When 8,000 protest taxes, that’s a bunch of teabagging redneck racists afraid of a black man in the White House. When Michael Moore accuses Bush of blowing up the WTC, that’s dissent–which is the highest form of patriotism (as long as it’s a dimwitocrat doing it). When someone posts a video of Obama saying he wants a single-payer health care (socialized medicine), that’s a wicked lie spread by insurance companies…even though they never addressed how much the insurance companies paid Obama to say those things.
Yeah, I’ll stick with self-righteous hypocrites.
Or maybe go for something shorter like “Morons.”
